How to Report for CSRD
A guide to reporting under the CSRD.
September 1, 2024
Reporting for CSRD requires a structured approach to ensure compliance and accuracy.
1) Conduct a double materiality assessment and confirm what objectives and metrics you need to track
2) Confirm which standards of ESRS you need to meet
3) Collect and track data across all your areas of ESRS (ie carbon, emission, employees, community etc)
4) Write your CSRD report, have it externally audited (with limited assurance) and then submit to the EU portal in European Single Electronic Format (ESEF)
5) Start improving your CSRD metrics and continually measure your data for next years assessment
